No Comments WordPress Bookmarklet Window Fix
With WordPress v2 came a change to the WordPress Bookmarklet. It no longer opened in a small new window, instead it opened in the same window you wished to blog about. :! Not that helpful if you wish to reference the original article to collect quotes etc.
But there is a fix! One kind fellow managed to produce the required javascript code to make the Bookmarklet once again open in the new window.
Simply create bookmark or edit the current Bookmarklet and in the address field add the code from the following pastebin. I’d post the code here, but the javascript displays incorrectly. :(
Be sure to change http://www.example.com/ to your website plus wordpress directory if not in the root. You can also change width=600,height=460, to increase or decrease the size of the Bookmarklet window. :)
