Serenity Australian DVD Final Artwork

The DVD cover will be supplied printed both sides. The reverse side will not include the rating, thus give a clean cover to diplay on the shelf. :)

For those of you that are big Serenity/Firefly fans, you’ll want three copies of this DVD. Here’s why…

• Purchased from JB HiFi, the DVD will come with a slipcover featuring artwork with Joss Whedon’s printed signature. Cover can be seen here
• Purchased from EzyDVD, the DVD will come with in a collector’s Tin Case. Artwork is reportedly only slighlty different from the actual DVD. EzyDVD now have the DVD listed for pre-order with tin cover shown here
• Purchase from Sanity, the DVD will come with a Serenity Mouse Mat.

All extras will be in limited supply.

We should see an annoucement regarding the artwork for the above next week. But the final DVD cover looks great. :)

It’s been some time since I aquired some new dvds, which is strange as I normally buy a few every month. The last time I got a batch of dvds was back in September when i purchased:

• Cypher
• SpiderMan 2 – Collector’s Edition (2 Disc Set)
• Taking Lives – Director’s Cut
• Lano And Woodley – The Complete Adventures Of (2 Disc Set)
• Ross Noble – Unrealtime (2 Disc Set)

The Ross Noble dvd is a hoot! Much prefer the second live dvd to the first however. Even though I watched it at about 4am. :P

I did order some more dvds in October but they are yet to get here. I placed and order for some collector tin dvds from EzyDVD but they’ve had a few problems. Some had to be cancelled as they couldn’t, the rest had be delayed at various intervals. I’m hoping they’ll turn up within the next week as the last one is due on the 19th. The tins I have on order are:
