The story: I went into BigW last Monday to try and find the last few boxsets of MASH that Nay was missing in her collection as they had them cheap. I wandered over to the games section as I always do and noticed Marvel Alliance for the Wii had a good price on it. So when asking about the MASH DVDs I asked about the Wii consoles. As it turns out they were expecting more stock the following week, and they were happy to put my name on one if I wanted. I declied and left to continue the hunt for the DVDs Wii-less.
Overnight I decided to put one on order and figured I probally wouldn’t see one for a few weeks due to the shortage of Wii due to the amazing popularity of it. I returned the following day, picked up Marvel Alliance and also managed to score an elusive Remote+WiiPlay bundle. I went up to the counter to pay for the items and put my name down for a console. She replied with “I ahve 6 out the back”. Wii! I bought it on the spot and have been playing it ever since.
So much fun. :) It’s on like Donkey Kong!
