9 Comments Quick Activesync Restore Guide
1: Rename device to the original Device name when the backup was taken.
2: Ensure the Regional Settings are the same as when the backup was taken.
3: Setup a Guest partnership and start the Restore.
This will get around the error:
‘Device Mismatch’
‘Restore cannot be completed successfully. The selected backup file was created from a different type of mobile device. For more information about possible caused and solutions tothis error message, click Help.’
