Daffodil Day 2007 just so happens to land on my birthday this year. If it’s not that it used to be the SIDS Red Nose Day. :D
Please support this great foundation by purchasing any of the merchandise that will be available at various locations around the country. Some of the merchandise includes silk ribbons $3; wristbands $3; lip balm $5; soccer balls $6; lapel pins $5 & $10; pens $5; and Dougal the Daffodil Day bear $7.

What is Daffodil Day?
The Cancer Council’s Daffodil Day is the largest merchandise based national fundraising event of its kind for cancer research, education, and patient support in the Southern Hemisphere. The event had its beginnings in Canada around 30 years ago and is now held in eight countries including the UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, New Zealand, Denmark and Australia. It is a day to remember people touched by cancer, a day to celebrate survivorship and to hope for a brighter future.
The daffodil is the international symbol of hope for all those affected by cancer.
