12 Books in 12 Months – Part 2

Kendermore

Kenders! Love em, and is where my online handle originated from. It was once the name of a kender character I used to play in the age old pen-n-paper RPG games.

To the book, it was a rather exhausting read. Mainly because it was a rush to finish it by the end of the month. The story follows the a Kender, Tas, around Krynn. It wasn’t as fun and silly as I was expecting the book to be, knowing kenders to be very cheeky and all. I mean this race are basically sneaky thieves, but as they see it they are ‘borrowing’.

A lot of traveling which seemed to slow the pace of the story down, but it did speed up with a rapid climax at the end. Enjoyable read on from the last book but only to give a better understanding of the Dragonlance series. As a standalone book it wouldn’t be much fun. I’m keen to get into a different Genre.

Speaking of which, next on my list is Survival of the Dumbest by Wil Anderson. Being a great fan of The Glass House I picked it up whilst looking for another book, read a few lines and instantly had to buy it. Can’t wait to get stuck into it tomorrow night. :D
