New Photography Gear

Ordered some new equipment from Adorama.com in US. Only had to wait a week before I got to play with them.

New Gear

  • Canon Speedlite 580EX
  • Canon Lens EF 50mm f/1.8 II
  • Canon Lens Hood ES-62<
  • Sto-Fen Omni-Bounce

I also picked up a few extras from eBay. ;)

  • Sandisk 2GB Ultra II Compact Flash card
  • 2x 1200mAh NB-2LH Batteries

Now I couldn’t just let these new toys sit there in their boxes, I just had to test them. :)

Shot with the 50mm f/1.8 and the 580EX. No diffuser and managed to get almost no shadow behind the subject with fairly decent lighting and minimal drop shadows. :D
excuse the crooked line, was testing after all. ;)
