No Comments Little Cousin for the week
Woah, what a week it’s been! I thought for once I might actually post a ‘life’ entry into this blog. :D But first a little background…
For the last 12 months I’ve been on contract at the City of Subiaco. It’s had it’s up’s and downs, but most importantly they were a great bunch of people. Anyway, last Friday [30th September] was my last day there and as it turned out was the last day for the other IT guy there too! Many beer were had that night and was a great farewell for both.
So this was my first week on holidays. I had arrange with my contract employer to take all of Oct off. Gives me a chance to be at home and get a few things done.
Turns out my cousin Christine and her little 4yo lad Ryley were coming up too so it was a fun first week indeed. Tuesday they arrived and we took Ryley for a ride around the park. Wednesday was a little slower and Mum and Dad took them both into Freo for a wander around. But it was my turn to babysit while the girls went to a makeup party. As he had bought face paint that day, what better way to pass the time?
Turns out he’s a KISS fan. ;)
Thursday was heaps of fun as we took Ryley to Scitech. Hadn’t been there in years, but a great place for kids to play and learn about science. :D
So of course Nay Christine and myself had heaps of fun, oh and Ryley too. ;)
Christine and Ryley went home yesterday after a fun packed week. Which means I’ll actually get breakfast now instead of Ryley leaving me an empty box each morning. :P
As for today it’s cousing tag. Ryley’s Uncle Brad (my Cousin) is up for a few days so Rock Climbing again at 3pm and Serenity tonight. Yeehar! :D
