New Scientist – Smart beer mat orders refills

A beer mat that knows when a glass is nearly empty and automatically asks for a refill has been created by thirsty researchers in Germany.

Now this is what I like to see. A smart beer mat so us drunkards don’t have to get up and chase down a barmaid for another beer. *chuckle* It’s for their own protection really.
