Deviant Prints

http://shop.deviantart.com/

Spured from majik’s desire to get some of her artwork online and printed (http://www.cafepress.com/m4jik/) I started to look for an easy way to make some of my photos availble. Mainly to spur me to get out there and improve my skills. If I make a few bucks in the process, great!

After a bit of hunting around I found out that deviantART provide a printing service. It sounded okay and easy enough. Just need a deviantART account and pay a setup fee and make some or your artworks available in the shop.

So the only thing to do was to purchase them. First up, the support AUS$! Woo! Just makes things that little bit easier.
Wandering around for a bit and picked a two items at a fairly random. Two so I could get one in Matte and one in Glossy to see how they two compared.
Crimson Skies in Glossy and Quiet Times in Matte, 4×6 prints.

Well they turned up on Thursday and not to shabby. Much prefer the Matte over the Glossy finish. The Glossy finish just makes it look like a crappy party photo and makes the little bends and fingerprints all the more visable :/ The Matte however gives it the ‘painted’ feel. Just love the texture.

So I might just get around to touching up some of my photos and uploading them to deviantARTs.
