GeoCaching Adventure
Meant to post this about a week ago…

Nay and I took Quaver out on his first GeoCaching hunt on 1st August. Quaver rather enjoyed it, thus we’re going to try and go hunting on a regular basis.
Once Quaver signed up to post his first find, I grabbed his userid and added him to our GeoCaching page. http://skit.id.au/geocaching
Things didn’t start off to well thou.
Or first attempt was href="http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=c009b401-c826-4a3f-9e9a-47fb52966a56">Rush Hour. First up I forgot it was a Multi Cache and well that made the hunt hard. As we were looking for a cache, rather than the cd case. But later reviewing the Cache pics I could have sworn that I did check the stump and didn’t find the case… :/
Second attempt was planned to be Bird Viewing Lake. But as this hunt was an impromptu attempt as was the previous I didn’t have the co-ords given for parking etc. So each attempt we made to try and get closer to this cache, we were greeted with a large electric fence…
So we shot back home and reviewed the previous caches but also found another one which looked easier and would mean Q would have his first find before the sun sets.
We ventured up to UWA in search of Waltzing Matilda. This was right on the water front. We followed the GPS and came to the area that looked good to hide the cache, being that this was a park and not many trees/bushes around for cover. Nay wandered up a bit to check another area further up just in case whilst Q and I literally poked around. A few mins later cache found! Dropped off the Action Man Villain and claimed the Pink Kitty!
So turned out to be a fun day. Including the dash to the car in the rain after the find. :P
